Hi all,

In another 2 weeks I'll be back in Malaysia! wee~ I can't wait to EAT, HANG OUT & basically, Have a Great Time! Speaking of having a great time, since I do have another 2 weeks, I'll hopefully make good use of it and spent tons of time with my fellow mates that I've made here in Melbourne! Well, Melbourne's definitely more exciting than Singapore & Malaysia combined, unfortunately, but pricey if calculated dollar for dollar. I guess it's more exciting for those who actually can afford it and I am truly blessed to able to enjoy such privileges whilst studying for my bachelor's!

I'd love to know how me mates back home are doing and hopefully in my 3 months of being back home in JB, I'll find the time to! Ciao & Arriverderci! A Presto!

Come Stai Cari Ragazzi? A little update on what happened the past week, basically thought of how I was going to prepare for my upcoming exams but I'm definitely not going to make this post a sad one.

Anyways, it's been more than a week since my last post. So, here goes... I've been spending lots of time with my Christian Cell Group (Yes, I've been getting more obedient towards God these days). Recently we've had trips together and lots of time sharing about each others lives and how God has been blessing us whilst in Australia. I find myself contemplating on where to seek motivation to study and well, I was given this sentence, "If you can't find enough motivation to study while your here (Monash University in Melbourne, Australia), What about those back home? or elsewhere Worse for that matter? What have They got to be Thankful for and to Appreciate?" This hit me pretty hard, knowing that what I have Is indeed a Blessing from our Heavenly Father. What else is there to sulk about? NONE.

I believe myself to be imperfect and sought to be made perfect, however, that comes with a price and in turn I may have hurt others. I'm Sorry, if I've done anything mean, hurtful or plain insensitive. I do it sometimes to mirror things that hurt me too. It's just about Repentance and Forgiveness!

Exams are inching Closer and all we need now is to keep on Praying and Believe in the Possibilities!

1st Sem Exams

Ciao, Come Stai? Non C'e Male. Perche? Finale L'esame Italiano. Beh, non figuro!

Here I am taking some time off studying for my 1st semester examinations. Italian Studies 1 was the first paper, it was on Monday, 9am at Clayton campus. Fortunately, I was not late to the exam and was in fact 20 minutes earlier than expected. I say this because it was the first time that I've ever been to Monash University, Clayton campus :O All in All, I thought the examination was alright, although I think that I screwed up my 100 word composition part of the paper. Blanked on the crucial words for booking a hotel in Italiano... Damnnn....

Anyways, 1 down and 2 more to go~

International Studies: Contemporary Worlds on 10th June, 2.30pm at Caulfield Race Course.
It's this coming Friday & I'm Still very worried about writing 2400 words in total of 2 sections for the paper in just 2 hours. It's supposedly easier because we get the questions prior and figure it out before sitting for the paper but STILL!!! GoD Help Me!

Human Rights Theory 1: On 21st June, 9.30am at Caulfield Race Course.
Trying not to panic about this one but so far I've just been treating this unit as really theoretical and sometimes extremely tricky to give feedback on. This subject is not for those who prefer something a little more interesting than just debating on whether the United Nations are actually doing a good job on things like, War, Famine, Genocides, etc... Describing the links between how 'Basic Rights' must be provided in order for Other 'Rights' to be effective. Basic Rights consists of rights that provide sustainable living for a person & is the Responsibility of the Governing State. *If you're already getting bored when you get to this point, DROP THE UNIT!* No matter how boring it may seem to anyone else, it probably gets me thinking out of the box and is probably more relevant in this era than reading history books (like in International Studies). Haha.

Please don't ditch me now my fellow mates. I'm just trying to make sure that I'm still alive by the 22nd of June D:

Hey guys, it's been a couple of weeks since my last blog post because of assignments and countless class tests and questionnaires to complete before the 1 semester exams! Oh dear God, is it going to be a smooth or bumpy ride until the mid-year hols? 1st year's supposedly the easiest and least stressful but so happens I'm not exactly good at managing my time lately.
So, my time management would most probably be better than the 1st sem since I now know all the tips and tricks of surviving in Uni... Let's see how my results go ;D

Anyways, nothing really special happened after my Easter break but I definitely am getting the uses of Skype, that is... chatting with friends while playing Skype Games...Lame I know but it's the closest thing I can come up with to prevent myself from chatting away my phone credit and waiting for picture updates on Facebook of friends overseas. hahaha...

I really do hope my Italian is improving, so far my Italian Culture hasn't really and it's my weakest link and duh, it's kinda hard to improve when you think the lecturer's really boring and disorganized. C'mon give me a break, it's hard enough being in a class with 90% of angmohs which are trying so hard to understand what you're saying even when they don't ACTUALLY have to (preconception of foreigners I guess) I don't blame them but it's just how we are as humans, just take a step back and listen carefully.Hopefully, you don't misinterpret anything. You know what I mean? Well, I just have to change my perspective and methods of getting my studies underway in the 2nd semester then now!

In more serious news...
Most interesting thing is today was, 21st May 2011... Mr. Harold Camping prophesied that today would be the Rapture (End of the World) at 6pm... Apparently, he hasn't been paying much attention to what is said in the bible, which Jesus says:

"But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

Matthew 24:36.

Hence, this simple sentence clearly states that no one will know about this except for God. And so the truth stands at how Mr.Camping found out about the date of 'End of Days', is it just his imagination or did God really speak to him? Not surprisingly, he had a prediction in 1994 which did not happen. His followers believed in this prophesy and removed all their belongings from their persons and flooded to churches to await the End of Days. Shocking isn't it? How people can still be blind to what is written in the bible but do not fret, it is by grace they are saved and not by what others have prophesied. Hypocritical you might say, I do not want Judgment to be upon them but just Clarity of His Word.

Hey Everyone,

Easter was fun for me, I'm sorry but there aren't any pictures for this but I can tell ya it was a different experience for me... Since Easter isn't really a big thing in Malaysia. However, in Australia, Easter Friday and Sunday are both celebrated (Public Holidays) & because Easter was on the same week as ANZAC Day this year, I had a whole week of Easter Break! Hallelujah! Not All is wonderful during this time of Easter though, I had an assignment due on the following Monday after the break how sad is that?

I called up some of my chicas back in M'sia and abroad during the week. I miss them so much and thought I'd give them a call. I'm Glad they picked up otherwise, I wouldn't know when I could. To my Bella s, Leonie (Birthday Call, JB), Carolyn (at 12.15am AuS time = 5.15pm SuI time, Switz), Rachel (Birthday/Booty Call, S'pore), Regina (Belated Birthday Call, she didn't pick up on the B'day itself) & Daddy (Alysha's 1st Birthday!).

Anyways, speaking of buying stuff, I recently went to DFO (Direct Factory Outlet) and bought myself a nice grey jacket (Only AUD$14) and 2 winter scarfs (Only AUD@5.95 each). I wasn't too impressed with the discounts given at most of the stores (Especially the Brands) even though it was said to be on sale but the prices were just as high as Retail prices. I REALLY need to get a good pair of cross trainers because I forgot to bring mine from M'sia! Poor me. So, I'm on the hunt to get a good pair before Saturday afternoon! My cousin saw a nice pair at a store in the city and said I should get it but the moment I looked at the price, I went GEEZ, NO! it was AUD$200.00 = RM646.93. Tell me about it!

Uni News, I handed in my Contemporary Worlds assignment on Monday and really do hope I answered the question properly in roughly 1500 words. 'Nationalism' at this point is my most annoying topic of the week, so please do not ask me anything about it. I'll bore u to Death.

In all good news, there are more events coming up this weekend! YAY!

Friday, 6th May ~ 6.30pm-9.30pm: Multicultural Student Fellowship is having an event called 'Blast' and it's like a meet&dine plus, performances and food cooked by fellow mates of RMIT cell group, which I belong to coincidentally. I'll be cooking Curry Chicken for the event and singing with my mates to the song from Sister Act 2 (I Will Follow Him).haha.

Saturday, 7th May ~ 1pm-5pm: Melbourne Praise Centre is having an event called 'Sports Festival' to be held as a friendly competition amongst Cell Groups. I'll be playing Volleyball and Badminton... no matter how bad I am at it, it's all gonna be for fun and we have to be sporting! hahaha...

Sunday, 8th May ~ 9am-2pm: Mother's Day Classic! It's a marathon to raise Breast Cancer awareness and raise funds for Cancer research. I'll be in the 8km walk with my cousin and friends, so whoever is interested to either join in the fun or if you're willing to donate you can do so by 'Sponsoring Me' (I do not get any money, it goes straight to the Cancer Fund!).

This change in culture is only one of the major changes in Australia. I reckon most of you don't even know what a 'Bilby' is. Well, if anybody asks, just say it's a kind of rodent that's found in Australia... apparently this little guy is one of the replacements of the Easter Bunny. How strange.

In Australia like many countries, celebrate Easter with chocolate eggs and lots of it and basically celebrate it like any other public holiday with a long weekend.haha. I've decided to join in for the Easter festivities over the weekend and will upload pictures of any interesting outcomes from it like, Easter Celebration at Church, BBQ with Cell Group at Mt. Waverley, and Easter Sunday Service.

I have a week of uni break because of Easter and ANZAC day and so the fun begins, my first uni break. Unfortunately it won't be all fun and games because I've got an Assignment for International Studies due on the 2nd of May which is the following Monday after the Easter Break. Boo.

I know this might seem a little childish of Uni students but me and another classmate of mine got Punk'ed today by our 1 hour, 2pm tutorial classmates as we were 5 minutes late. We arrived at Caulfield Campus for the tutorial which was supposed to be at Room K2.08 and there wasn't anybody in it. We were contemplating for a bit wondering whether the tutorial had been canceled and why isn't there a note or something? Moments later, we freaked out knowing that we didn't want to be marked as absent and went to the Arts faculty department to find out (took us 20 minutes wandering abt). We then decided oh well, I guess we'll have to email our tutor explaining our absence. We went back to check just to be sure and THERE THEY WERE! The entire tutorial class concentrating and doing their work with the tutor. WHAT THE F***?! We went in and found out that one of our classmates decided to get some 'Vitamin D' from the Sun with the rest of the class and hence, we got Punk'ed. Uni kids for ya! What a Day!

Wednesday, 25.5.2011 : Human Rights Theory 1 Assignment Due (1500 words)

I've begun getting sources for this assignment already on top of 2 other assignments. The thought of myself failing in Uni would be one of the worse feelings I've been having lately and I'm not about to left this happen because of my extensive procrastination program (which started waay too early) and countless distractions. God Please, let me be guided by Your word and know that Your light will shine through me not matter how small or how limited.

Not only am I feeling like a dimwit in most of my tutorials, I feel like I have no significant input on the subject I'm studying and now exams are in just 2 months plus. There's not much I can say about taking matters into my own hands and it working out because it most definitely hasn't. How else can I improve my own intellectual ability and study strengths? When I think I've done well, there's gonna be something that's bound to make me guess again and I reckon it's most definitely not going to get easier.

How much tougher I do not know just yet but rest assured, Fiona is going dominate in her studies! I'm not going to sit back and see my results go down the drain and wonder whether all my hard work of getting through Foundation Year and into Monash Uni was a dumb thing to do. It hardly is the revelation for anyone who's gone through all that Shit.

I can only rely on my timetable which I've created to help me manage my time. 4 hours a week of revision on top of my in-uni lectures and tutorials; not excluding, house chores, entertainment & being a christian too. I need get my head in the game and make myself clearer on my expectations and goals in life.

Distinctions, Distinctions...

Book: Why Truth Matters.

As you can tell, I've been swamped with assignments. This is just ONE of the books I'll be referencing for my Behavioral Studies: Understanding Human Behavior topic "Only Crazy people would tell the Truth all the time." Well, I've come to understand some things I wouldn't before and that would be; people are not considered crazy for telling the truth but only because of what Society has made them to be. I'll be critically discussing on this topic and figuring out why is it taboo for someone to tell the truth all the time and why, call them Crazy? LOL.

Oh well, it's gonna be an interesting topic in my case but then again I've got serious topics to write about in Human Rights Theory and International Studies. Students undertaking these courses are required to prepare an essay plan to figure out what they're gonna be writing about and get clearer more concise arguments planned beforehand. Although it might seem amateur to some but this is a great way to get Distinctions or even higher grades. So Plan ahead! 'Prevention is better Cure' as they say. People can get REALLY emotional if they Fail their assignments and I'm not Planning to be one of those.

Heading to church tomorrow morning, spending an entire day there as I've got Service at 11.30am, Lunch at 1pm, Christian Foundation Class at 2pm and Cell Group member birthday celebration at night... I'm such a Geek aren't I? Praise the Lord!

Homecooked Food and Great BBQ by surprisingly a whole lot of Hong Kong (cantonese speaking) friends of Suzi's at a nice cozy suburban home. Basically had a range of food Asian-Western. Then there were some dishes which I especially loved, Yam Cake, Curry Puff, BBQ Chicken Ribs, & Mixed Bean Salad! LOL. Sorry, no pictures for this entry because I was busy eating and squishing with the 40 people under one roof! XD

Tuesday, 29.03.2011: 3 Course Dinner at St.George's (NMIT)

Lovely place, Suzi's friends had a 3 table gathering with delicious meals prepared by the chefs in training (Culinary Arts) at North Melbourne Institute of Technology (NMIT). I decided to have a 3-course meal which was presumably reasonable (Price wise) considered it was Fine Dining and Fusion Food. I ordered Pan-fried Haloumi Cheese served with mint dressing (Entree), Roasted Pork Belly served with Plum Salad,Alfalfa and Beetroot (Main) & for Dessert, Banana Crepe.

Overall it was a gorgeous meal at a Fancy restaurant with Good Service and pretty damn good food by apprentice chefs! haha.

Now the Big Stuff, All I can say is, French food is most definitely Expensive but soooo DELISH! Paid like AUD$60 odd for my 2-course meal consisting of Entree (Chicken Terrine with Plum Sauce) & Main (the above picture) plus a glass of Bubbly. Guess where Annie Smither's is? It's about 1 hour 30 mins Drive from the City via Freeway. Good Food's not ALWAYS in the City aight mate! The drive was nothing for me but not too good for my cousin because well, like I said, in total my traveling time to Uni is about 3 Hours a day via Public Transport! Whoop-dee-do~!

Saturday, 2.03.2011: BBQ gathering at Paul Hollander's self-built home in the Whoop-Whoop (Aussie slang for countryside)
Paul and his wife, Kit are really good cooks and prepared such a feast for their guests. They had a BBQ set up along with home cooked food, Beef Masala, Papadum, Vietnamese Minced Pork, Smoked Salmon, an array of Cheese and Crackers, Pickled Capsicum and lots of other food which I can't recall right now!

Other than EATING the entire time, I was at their place like 4 hours earlier to help out with some of the food preparations and Paul took us for a really nice tour of his estate. I saw 20+ WILD KANGAROOS! How awesome is that! I was Serena's Playdate for about an hour when the adults were washing up, I guess that only happened because I was the only one that was ONLY 10 years older and at the same height as her, was very easy to mess around with (she threw leaves at me for fun D=) and treated me as though one of her school friends! Very Adorable, Smart and Easygoing 11 yr old.

Tuesday, 22.03.2011: My 20th Birthday & the Very 1st in Australia!
As you can tell from the picture above, I celebrated my birthday in a different fashion than I usually do. No Loud Music, Alcohol, or my Crazy Buddies getting Drunk and Raping one another. Instead, it was with my dearest cousin, Suzi, Uncle Sim & Sam, PLUS my newly made friends, Christina & Jessica! I'm really blessed to have basically ANYONE to celebrate my 20th Birthday with but you know what, it was really enjoyable even though it was me being Sober and not Partying til 2am. I Love You guys so much! Especially, Suzi (Paying for the Szechuan Dinner), Christina & Jessica, my friends for about 1 month and They got me a Handbag & a 'Believe' Bracelet! I need to repay them in some way in time to come.

NOT FORGETTING! My Dearest Sweethearts back in Malaysia for wishing the best kind of 'Happy Birthday' on FaceBook, LOL! I Miss U Guys and wished u could have been here for my 20th but not to worry, my 21st will be even more Superb since I'll be having it in Advance in Malaysia (in FEB) before going back to Melbourne! My Dad promises to Celebrate it, It's the Key to Life, BABY. haha

MPC Breakthrough Camp 2011

Friday-Sunday, 25-27.03.2011: Melbourne Praise Church Breakthrough Camp!
Location: Lyrebird Park, Yellingbo.
This camp was really a breakthrough for me, sure, the atmosphere and presence of God was Intense throughout the whole 3 days but it was definitely worth going to. If not for a new sense of direction, then for a really good time just praising God and being able to share and work together with those who are either in the same 'Lost' place as you or just there to learn more about Him. I have become more of a Christian as I was before the camp and I'm bout to embark on a journey I will never forget, in this distant land without fear of being judged and looked down upon as I know that 'He' is my Defender and Savior. I know that sounds really cliche-d and dumb to some but until you've gone to a place deep within your soul and know what it feels like to be touched by God; by all means do so.

I've picked up so many different views of learning about God through the Bible and the different interpretations of the Bible have sent me into a world of Dilemma but from Breakthrough Camp I've learnt a few things that are 'Food for Thought':
1. ONLY Judge Yourself or Be Judged by God.
+ 1 Corinthians 11:31 - 'For if we would Judge Ourselves, we should not be Judged.'
2. NEVER Follow your Heart as it is Deceitful and the Biggest Liar you are stuck with.
+ Jeremiah 17:9 - 'The Heart is Deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?'
3. DESPERATION for the Power and Love of God puts you first in His eyes.
+ Matthew 21:22 - 'And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.'
4. YOUR weaknesses are in turn His Strengths and by laying down your Strengths, you will be blessed with your NEEDS only God knows of.
+ Hosea 7:8~9 -'Ephraim is a cake not turned.Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.'

Italian Homework @ Gloria Jean's

Nothing like sitting down, stuffing my face with Chai Latte, a Tim Tam Slice at Gloria Jean's & doing my Italian Studies homework to really realize what the shit I'm doing here in Melbourne, Australia. I'm sure my fellow mates, you must be thinking, "yeah, that's student life for ya" but oh no, it gets much worse than that. Not only do I have a Human Rights Theory 'Reading Quiz' due every Monday by 10am (submitted online), Italian Culture is mad crazy with 25 pages of reading in small friggin print, Italian Workshop homework & weekly readings for my 2 other units too. My goodness, where does the time go when you're reading waaay too much?

This coming week, I have 2; 500 word assignments due as well:
1.Understanding Human Behaviour's Annotated Bibliography on 'Only Crazy People would tell the Truth all the time'. (Any good references for this topic? eh eh?)
2.Contemporary World's 'Nikkei:Japan's Economic Bubble Burst 1991').

I know, 500 words doesn't seem much at all but the shitty part is that Monash University is really particular about referencing and if you dare cite sources from 'Wikipedia, Textbooks or Websites e.g. .com, .co.' you'd probably be marked as 'FAIL' (NO JOKE).

My weekend was pretty much hanging with my Malaysian Society, Cell group mates and getting to join them for a BBQ and Christian Foundation class.I reckon that would be the only highlights for my weeks to come.

oh well, wish me luck!

Fountain at Carlton Gardens

I just watched Julia Gillard's condolence speech on the news today and Australia has sent search & rescue teams to help Japan in their time of need and desperation.

Fortunately, Australia doesn't have any direct threats on aftershocks of the Earthquake or Tsunami. I am safe from harm & even managed to squeeze in some 'Fun' time on Friday & Saturday.

I would prefer making a video of what happened this week because there was lots but I guess I'll just keep it to typing words in a blank space for my fellow readers. :D

I was invited to the Melbourne Church of Praise by my sister, who had friends there and now I'm pretty much part of them as well. This isn't my first meeting with some from MSF because the previous Friday, 4th March, I went to a cell group meeting and made friends there.

For this event,I managed to get a friend from my course in Monash, Ms. Christina Cheah, originally from KL but has been living in Melbourne through half of her high school, to join in (she brought an extra 2 people) YAY!

I reckon this would be one of the groups/societies that one should be joining to meet some real good friends to talk and help you through your most difficult times in a foreign country. I'm Blessed and don't I know it! haha.

Saturday, 12 March 2011 (Carlton Gardens) @ 9.30am
The supposed plan for the outing was 'Beach Day' at Brighton Beach. However, the plan was scrapped due to the cancellation of trains running from Flinders Station to Brighton & the fact that apparently M.A.S.S. committee was afraid that a tsunami was coming our way (EPIC-LY WRONG). I was so friggin excited about heading to Brighton and gettin my sand on.LOL.

How was I to know whether the plans were scrapped following an email sent at 5.03am on the day ITSELF! *sighs* oh well, who could blame them; Japan can't exactly blame the Tsunami can they? *sarcastic face*

Overall, they tried to get everybody over heading to the beach & had to change the event location to Carlton Gardens.We played ice breaking games,a little random volleyball & had Pizza for Lunch. Might I say, that even though you'd think Melbourne is ethnically diverse, the taste for Pizza has not changed.After attending 3 different occasions where they served pizza.Oh dear god, stop serving me pizza. So, today... I'll be having Instant Noodle. blah.

Moomba Festival (Melbourne)

Saturday, 12 March 2011 ('Yarra' riverbank) @ 3.30pm
MOOMBA, MOOMBA, MOOMBA! 2011! Yes, I went to Moomba!
It was really interesting and fun, they had lots of things that one could do with friends or family and the weather was really good too. A little hot (30) but it was all good. Sunny weather makes perfect weather for walking around Yarra River (both sides of the riverbank) which would be approximately 4-8km. Btw, my legs are sore today. =O

Moomba happens every year during the long Labour Day weekend in Australia from 10am-11pm.This year, Labour Day's on 14th March (changes annually). It's like a huge funfair with games, stage performances (by some famous local artists), food, silent disco, and 10+ rides for all ages & it's big... I say this because I doubt a funfair in Malaysia would actually be hosted between a huge river to create a performance stage for water ski shows & water boarding competitions! You can basically walk the entire 4-8km without feeling tired at all (you have free water fountains to refill water bottles & lots of nice green grass to relax on). I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't experienced it. XD

Japan 8.9 Magnitude Earthquake

Japan is hit with an earthquake of magnitude 8.9
along with a 4 metre Tsunami.
I woke up this morning to find THIS on the Morning News.

I pray for those in Japan and the rest of the countries bracing themselves for tsunamis that are about to come their way. I think this is just the beginning of major changes that are about to come. We will only know the meaning of happiness after we have defined sadness and destruction. I'm still counting my blessings till this day and the time when I'm at my happiest could be someone's darkest. When we're all snuggled up and warm in our beds at night, we should take a moment to realize what our future holds and how just 5 minutes destruction can change everything.

My condolences to those that have suffered/suffering from this tragic situation and I pray that all is well in time to come.
New Zealand will brace herself for a possible Tsunami after an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 that brought a total death count of 150+. I watched for an entire week of rescues and survivors.
How much more pain and loss can this country take?

Aaaand that's about as much Italian as I can come up with for now.
As for whoever that reads this blog is probably dead bored or an/are Awesome friend/friends of mine from somewhere I wish I was for a moment.

Here's a summary of what happened so far in this great big island called Australia:

First off, I'm just sooo blessed to be here in Melbourne continuing my studies at Monash University, Caulfield and the fact that it took me approximately 2 weeks to make countless amount of acquaintances, I have to say it doesn't get better than that. I've got heaps of events lined up from joining societies and a religious sect. I feel I have so much more to offer and I'm gonna get my head in the game and focus on my inevitable balancing act.

How's your life so far?
I know the Tagboard isn't quite up yet but it'll be up in another 15 mins or so counting down from when this post is published.

In a nutshell, I have a crazy total of 3 hours of my day spent travelling to and from Uni in Caulfield as I live in a suburb of Coburg with my cousin. It's a lebanese/arabic part of Melbourne and good thing I came from a country which directly, er...I mean indirectly promotes Muslim Law in it's daily political debates.

My sister left behind her Bvlgari sunglasses which is now in my hands. hehe...
Well, she asked to keep it for her until her next trip or whenever I'll see her again.
Shouldn't it be worth something? or else why would she want it back still? aight?
However, I'm still trying to figure out the authenticity of these pair of sunglasses.

As some of you may or may not know, I just had my trial paper for Computer Science A and it was what I expected it to be (Answers not included). Owh please, it's just a silly 1 and 1/2 hour paper... it couldn't get simpler than that.

Thank God, I managed to squeeze in some extra note flicking 20 minutes before the paper otherwise it wouldn't have been easy at all. I seriously doubt anyone would want to stare at a question for more than 5 minutes wondering what was the solution, Especially when there's 3 sections of it D=

Anyways, I'm loving getting it done better than I thought, noting that nearly half the questions came from past year final exam papers, I was quite proud of myself for not blanking at the questions, instead, I went gunning!

Orchard Central: Baby's Day Out!

Alysha's just 5 Months to this exact date, 28.09.2010. I guess no matter how old you are, you can get to travel to just about anywhere your parents take you... Within the first year, her passport will show 2 international visits; Singapore and Sydney, Australia. One 'Lucky Baby' I tell ya. (She's got a passport of her own which will last till she's 5 years old) Whoa...

& I'm not just saying because she's my baby sister either XP

Change of Subject;
If you guys have not been to Orchard Central yet...One thing I know for sure, probably don't go there for another 3months or so (for shoppers) because they're still renovating some areas (which are still not occupied by stores & a Food Court which is supposedly to be built close to the Toilet is currently a maze (for people looking to pee/poop).LOL.

Other than that Orchard Central is a cool and quite 'happening' mall even though they have 12 levels altogether :S (They have a 'Weekend Market', Stage for band performances and since it's gonna be October, they have a Fun, Drinking & Game area for those who wanna celebrate 'Oktoberfest' in true Germanic style.) Oh and did I tell you there's also a Rock Climbing Wall, Capoeira Studio, & Wake Boarding store located in the building? I found these things quite amusing.

I never said my blog posts would be always long-winded...

Teen or Old Angst?

A few days ago I was confused as to what my aunt Barbara was mad at me about or somewhat disappointing that I didn't turn out quite as perfect as she wanted me to be but hell, no one's perfect and I mean no one.

I'm reading headlines of people dying on the streets because of things that they did because of poor family structure. Shit, I didn't do anything to make her feel unwanted or stupid... I never raised my voice or create any trouble for myself or the family but she thinks it's all a big mistake having me be in Australia to further my studies. Her reason would be because it's expensive and I won't be visiting often (*sarcasm* sure, I'd LOVE to listen to you all day, I can't resist!).
Can't she tell that there's tons of people who don't even care of what their parents think of what they do until they DIE one day of Drug overdoses/Suicide?
I still follow the rules of the house:
Curfew at 11pm.
No Boys staying over.
Wash up after you eat & clear up all the dishes if you're having dinner later than 6.30pm.
Inform someone on my whereabouts and pick up every time grandpa calls (to help him with the 'advancement of technology').
MAKE SURE GRANDMA DOESN'T BURN DOWN THE HOUSE or at times 'ESCAPE' (still concerning my grandma btw).
Take care of your own pets and clean your room. Sometimes the friggin house even though I don't create much rubbish.

If she could just understand that what I'm doing at home is not being selfish and uninterested of what's going on at home with my Grandmother (Btw, my grandmother has 'Dementia' and can't speak any other language other than Hakka).
She thinks I can do more than just hang around with friends and stay in my room.

I want you guys to think about this; is there a point in your life where you're so fed up of someone talking crap about you that you'd prefer to keep yourself out of trouble and have some peace? YEAH, I'm guessing some of you have that problem. HOWEVER, Mine's a NO-WIN situation and probably, she'll have a blast while I'm gone and forget all about me. PITY HER and NOT ME. I BEG U.

FORGIVENESS & TOLERANCE is what I've learnt from all her grumbling and retardedness (if she doesn't know it already).

In College, Once Again...

Thanks to my extra-ordinary Math Results,
I'm back again for my 3rd Semester of MUFY (Congrats to myself DX)
I need to concentrate like crazy on my Maths but then again I still have Econs B to complete my entire course of 4 Subjects. I'm definitely NOT gonna Fail Math again, thus not gonna waste time doing un-necessary things. lol . ok, maybe some.

Maybe it's a sign for me to study better for my Math since I won't be able to enter into Uni if I don't pass it. Shite Much? Anyways, my former Classmates/Mufy-ians have graduated and will be entering into Uni pretty darn soon... I wish them the best in everything and I hope it'll turn out for the best in the future.

Oh well, I'm thinking about changing the layout abit to make it not seem too darn plain and what not. Pls leave any suggestions in the tagboard...I'll take any advice on how to make it look better and more interesting...

Anyways, starting with the Completion Ceremony, MUFY Jan, March, A-Levels and Ausmat 2009 all received they're certificates of completion (including me) even though I'll be back for a 3rd Semester (that doesn't mean I'll get another Certificate next year) so I guess it's still worth going for the Completion Ceremony. I found out that most of my classmates are coming back to Sunway College JB to continue their studies at Victoria University; affiliate of Sunway College.So, It's good that I still get to see them, cuz where I'm going isn't as close to home.
I will Miss those who decide to head for Australia (especially those in AusMat) cuz don't worry, I'll see ya soon! haha!

In 2nd place, we have Hui Ling's Birthday! another group of ppl which I totally Miss!!! My High School peeps...even though the boys didn't even TRY to make it, oh well, we still had a swell time! Us Girls Rock! LOL. Took some pics, however, they're all in an album on Facebook...
Oh Yeah, I saw my BFF Dawn (who I have not seen in a while) I don't know whether she looked different or was it because her hair looked totally Unreal? I was guessing it was a Wig but she told me she got her hair dyed by her friend hairstylist in S'pore and It was an unbelievable colour. AWESOME!

Finale, Watched 'PARANORMAL ACTIVITY' with Farhan and Najwa! Big Props to them for accompanying me. and getting freaked out @ da same time. I SERIOUSLY Did Not sleep till 7am after watching that movie. Whoever is Not afraid of ghosts/spirits/demons should watch that and think twice. It's about a couple who the fiance (the lady) whose life has always been intruded by an 'Unholy Entity' which they soon find out.....

I'm not gonna finish that sentence, u finish the Movie then u let me know...Girls don't watch it alone, u nid someone there to scream 2gether with U! hahah... Boys, Think abt It?

We've known each other for a mere 7 months and here it ends.
Our Final exams end on the 12th of November and most are heading off,
I will either not ever see them again or once in a blue moon,
depending of course on where they are,

Completion Ceremony will be on the 21st of November,
That'll be the Official Last Day for MUFY JAN/MARCH 2009.

UpDate: College Much?

I'm in College once again, this time on a Wednesday where I've got this 4 hour break in between Malaysian Studies and Accounts class. Heck, u would think it's nice but then again it's extremely boring and U've got nothing else to do but update ur Blog and do ur Assignments.

I've found my some links for my Malaysian Studies Assignment (Strategies undertaken by the Malaysian government in implementing Racial Integration).

U guys wanna help me me out?
It's a group assignment and each of the group members is supposed to search for 1 of the 6 strategies. So, mine's Racial Integration through the 'Education System'. If anybody has some info on how Malaysia is changing from a Country that segregates races instead of integrating them, PLS LET ME KNOW!!!!

SORRY 4 the Delay people, been busy re-adjusting myself!

What I've been up to

So, those were the trailers of movies I watched while on my semester break,
Transformers & Harry Potter on the 2nd Day of release and Ice Age on the 1st Day! Woot!
The most movies I've watched in a while...Seriously! XD

Desaru Trip
Oh well, for the other stuff I did... there's me heading to Desaru with my sister, Brenda along with her best friend, Lana Soh for a 4 day trip! Went sightseeing around Desaru (The surrounding kampung towns and stuff). Ostrich Farm, Fruit Farm and of course the beach!
I found out the most interesting way to get around places which u think aren't worth visiting would be the places where the tourists Don't Go!
We drove for abit around a small little seaside village (4got the name, SORRY!), found this extraordinary sight of the sea and the sand was just wonderful! We found a picnic table and sat down eating Ice-Cream and Super-Rings thus, enjoying the view! Who would've thought we'd find something like that in DESARU! LOL. Oh, I shouldn't forget to say a Thank You Very Much to Lana's mom who works in Desaru and takes care of a hostel for a local village school; for treating us to a delicious seafood dinner consisting of Lobster & Salted Egg Crab! Yum!

Holy Light Youth Church Camp
Joanna Gan, missy you're the one who caught me right outside the 5pm Church Service and asked me to make this 3 Day Camp, so I did and never looked back! Thank U Babe!
Seriously though, going to church gives u a great feeling but it's even better when it's at a beautiful beach resort all the way in Pahang, heck u can't ask for a better Church Service location and seeing how everyone had the same feeling of Worship and Praise from being there, made me feel way better about life. I didn't know what I was gonna do for my holidays in the first place, seems like everyone was going out their families and mates. So, this camp made me feel blessed in every way. I really want to Thank and say 'I MISS U GUYS!' to Mindy Chua & Zoe Kan for being my transport/chatting buddies during the 4 Hour van-ride to Endau & everything else after, Elyssa Chan & Yen Huay for being my room mates in a Triple-sharing bedroom & Tolerating my blurr-ness (LOL). Lemme try to remember who I met and shared with during Church Camp, so there's Sze Jing, Joy Tong, Raymond Lim, Daniel, Timothy, Joshua Gan, Kevin Boon (My biological brother), Pastor Gan, Mr.Chua, Alan, Valerie Oon, Jonathan, Ivan & Isaac Chia...If I missed out anybody else, PLS don't get mad! XP.

The rest of my holidays were spent hanging out with my Sister and Family.Why is my sister so important to me? Well, it's because she's the Best Role Model any girl or sister could ever have...she's accomplished in both ways, in Education and Work! I would never trade her for anyone else even though I think she Might want To trade me in! LOL. I'm not the best little sister, so I'm trying to grow and mature, so I can be as accomplished as her!

(Not that I'm not living now, but...but...aiyah, u get what I mean rite?)

Back in College for my 2nd Semester...
Gonna extend a 3rd Semester, studying Maths B (Re-Take) & Economics B.
Meaning, I'll be around for another Half a Year...Whoopie! For those that don't want me to leave just yet...Nicampoop! For my sister who saw my results.ish.

I don't have much to say abt college yet, since I've only been back in college for a month and most of it was just LAME, LAME, LAME or in other words ( =.= )
The only thing I could think of college rite now would be
Accounting Topic Tests, Economics A Quizzes, Maths A Practicals & English Research.

Hopefully, by next week there would be something more Interesting to keep u guys updated about...

Tiffany, naturally a Cute girl with a Cute voice and speech & is the epitome of CUTE!
No other words can describe her.She would be on constant alert for Ian at all times and would panic hysterically if he doesn't reply her text message.
She would Run back (Literally) into College straight after Lunch with the girls to see Ian after his classes, If that doesn't sound caring enough I don't know what is.
OK, back to what happened today..
as I was sitting with my baby 'Angeline' on a bench at the College Entrance, I saw Tiffany & Ian walking together until the steps & then... He walked to his car on his own...Angeline & I then asked Tiffany why she was still watching Ian walk back to his car instead of walking back into College & her reply was
"Cuz, I wanna say bye-bye to Ian mah"
Awww, how cute is that? Anyways, after Ian got into his car, he then made a Whole Round of the College Entrance Driveway & Stopped to say bye-bye to Tiffany.
(I thought that it was a Serious waste of Petrol but what can I do seh)

A week has passed and I'm all set to face the challenges of College. So I thought... by Friday the reality of it all had settled and I sought to find out almost everything about the school. I went to SSD (Student Services Department) *Played Scrabble, UNO & Ping Pong with fellow schoolmates*, Administration Office to give them the 2 passport sized photos of me for enrollment, been to all three levels of the Sunway Building lvl 1,2 & 3.

Ever since I stepped into college I kinda realized that I was not as Blurr as I was before (except during MATH Class) and I was the one who was always prepared with notes/classroom schedule & knew exactly what to say when I was asked to explain something to the class. "DiD GOD suddenly decide to give me a longer attention span and more observation skills or what?" LOL, not that I'm complaining but it seems that I might be the talk of the school for my friendliness towards ppl and for wearing a Shirt that read :
*FronT*
"HOT = FIONA"
*BacK*
"FIONA = HOT".

If u guys were wondering why on Earth would I wear such a shirt, the answer would be "I got it as a Birthday Present and what's the use if I don't wear it, eh?" My nickname at College rite now is 'Hot Fiona'. although there's this awesomely SEXY girl at college taking the A-Levels Course and has everyone texting to each other DURING Class, "I think she's dressing too Sexy 2day"OH MY. *NOT THAT I CARE*

Oh yeah, did I mention that I'm the Leader of my Moral Class Group called Group "GROUP"?
I was like "Eh, give another name can or not?" oh well, I'm stuck with 4 guys that are like my old friends so I just went with it...and yes, the assignments have rolled in with the first Topic Test Next Friday 4 MATHS B & Assigning of Groups for English Powerpoint Presentation.

Time to Clue everybody in with my Class Schedule.

PRE-University Course - Monash University Foundation Year
(MARCH 2009)

For the 1st Semester, 3 subjects are compulsory subjects and another is,
in my opinion *Annoying*
The 3 subjects as u can see from the Timetable are
English/General Paper A (Eng A), Maths B (Math B) & Accounts A (Acc A).
Annoyingly there's Moral Education (ME) that is compulsory for all Malaysian Students.
D:
Ok, I get this alot; "Why are the subjects split into A and B?
Is it like Discrete Maths and Applicable Maths?"
The Answer is No, they are not split that way. They are both the SAME Subject except they are split into either A (The Last Topics/Chapters) OR B (The First Few Topics/Chapters).For those in Malaysia, we know that Maths is either Additional Maths or Modern Maths, the difference is that MUFY is an Australian Pre-U Program and it follows the Australian Syllabus and that is to us "ADDITIONAL MATHS". So whoever that's in Art Stream in Malaysia should think twice before entering the > MARCH Intake < of ANY Pre-University Programme
under the Australian Board of Education because

1.It is an Accelerated Program.
2.Malaysian Art Stream Classes do NOT have Additional Maths.
3. You'll be Stressed to the point of Killing Urself!

But If u'r in Science Stream, this shouldn't be a problem unless
u totally dislike Additional Maths like Me!

Friends, I would like to say that I've learned so much growing as a little girl to what I am now.
A Woman, I can Proudly say as this would be a benchmark in my Life ahead.
Mistakes that I've learnt from taking for granted all the blessings I had and now, I'm here to say I'll be living each day to the fullest and fulfilling my ambitions and Growing wiser each day.
I LOVE EVERYONE that I've come to know, knowing that we will part one day and to see that this would be the last months of my time in Malaysia. Nothing can replace how I feel of Insecurity inside of me and the thoughts that run through my mind as I go through this process of LIFE.

As for me Turning the VERY 'Legal' 18 years,
I'm so thrilled as to how my party went and I couldn't have had done it without my

SPM Results

Hello Everybody...

I know it's been quite awhile since my last Tag/BlogPost but I'm back with updates to let ya'll know what I've been up to...
Other than plain boredom and mindless Facebook-ing, I was doing so waiting for the SPM results to be release and so they were today, U can't imagine how thrilled I am from my Results I received. Although it would be mentioned to be Average compared to the general population of students.I did NOT Fail any of my subjects neither did I get more than ONE measely 1A for my English.I was quite shocked at the fact that I got a 3B for EST (English for Science & Technology) because I was getting A's for it the whole year, turned out that some of the brighter students could've gotten Straight A's IF it wasn't for their 'EST'. Can U Believe that?
Whoosh, there goes that Perfect Score!
Well, my school isn't known for the Academic Performances of students but more emphasis on the Co-Curricular Achievements of Students...So in my school, it's rare to have SPM Students who are INCREDIBLY Active in Co-Curricular Activities and achieve Distinctions.
BUT
I Blame it on my myself..obviously I was INCREDIBLY Busy with trying to get the Interact Club back into Active Mode as well as in the MSSD Bowling Tournament representing my school, I should have taken a look at how my grades were slipping and not have waited till the last minute.
Fortunately, after all the work was done I tried to get back on track with my Studies and just Prayed it was good enough..All my assignments were done, now it's up to me in that SPM Examination Hall. The Pen, Paper & Answers that my brain had seemed to misplace.
LOL
It's all good for me now, knowing that my results have met the requirements for me to continue my studies at Pre-University at ANY College.A Minimum Requirement for students entering from Form 5 to College would be 5 Credits (5 Cs'). I've met the requirements and I'm ready to start my 9 month short Pre-University Course. Pressure has started to build and I'm not about to let myself waste any time!
Heading to Sunway College's Open Day this Saturday to Check Out and Enroll myself in their Pre-University Programme (MUFY). Hopefully they'll still have space in their classrooms XP

For those who did not meet the requirements and some that Failed to Pass BM, in other words *Needed to RE-TAKE SPM*
I know, that there's definitely a Private College that will take U in, although I'm not sure about the pricing though...and for those who failed, I Pray that U'll be able to do much better next time around and STOP WASTING TIME!

As I am experiencing my final year as an Interactor, I decided to make the effort as an Interactor to attend the 2008 RYLA Camp hosted by the Rotary Clubs of District 3310.
My Grandfather and father are both Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Johor Bahru and they definitely supported this decision of mine and Generously sponsored the RM400.00 for the Camp.
I feel so blessed having to meet the people I had there and it has definitely changed my views on life and increased my knowledge about others and myself.I Love Socializing with just about anyone and appreciate every moment that I've spent with them...
As from Ms.Leonie's Blog, I do un-intentionally 4get ppl's names.
But here are the few I remember because of how they've changed my perspective on things.
